I ask this because same as last month all photos have copyright South Yorkshire Transport across the middle of them. Sounds about right. Normally you get 2 or 3 photos submitted by administrators and the other ones are from the same person. I'm sorry to say that I will no longer be sending in any entries for the Background Picture in the future, as it is clearly rigged. Unless you're friends with an administrator, you're wasting your time (in my opinion) People can send upto 10 photos per month. It says South Yorkshire Transport on them to stop people copying them. I can assure you that they are not all one person's. One is mine. Eventually all the submitted photos go onto the SYT gallery and if you really want to know who's photos they are then it says: www.sy-transport.fotopic.net/

Rather than remove it im going to urge you to have a re-think and edit your post by yourself. Myself, Tango 2 and Dougie have no involvement whatsoever in the photo of the month process-indeed it was only last month i had a photo included for selection for the first time and even though i did not get the top spot i was still happy to be amongst the six picked.

So, to re-cap: The Admin pick photos taken by friends only and the actual poll is fixed. The finger hovers over the delete button...

Option 3 is my favourite, a lot of things going on there - and a bit of history!

Whilst I would love to vote for the B10M, I'm hoping (and half expecting) a number of entries of 60604 on the farewell day.
I'd like to see one of the Mass Brightbuses on the background but number 3 wins for me because of the unusual angle and the sheer number of vehicles in the Interchange.

The finger hovers over the delete button... Fine, but I would like an explanation if you do decide to delete it. I have only expressed my opinion. You can't just delete a post just because you don't agree with it.

Unless you're friends with an administrator, you're wasting your time (in my opinion) 1) Isn't the photographer's fault that they have more than 1 photo in the poll (This has happened to me this month and 1 or 2 other occasions and I try to send in pictures that are varied, for example: an ex FSY B10BLE in Manchester) 2) I wouldn't say I'm good mates with Admin, unless I'm missing something....... 3) Grow up, eh?

So to get something straight here, because one of your photos have not been chosen as the top 6, as part of this months selection (which as you are well aware, they have made it in previous months), you are now in a huff' and ranting about the poll being fixed? Well I've heard it all now...
If you have any concerns about the poll, then please send them via PM to myself and I will address the problems in full detail. And to think we had got past all of this, with the "Sheffield vs. all other areas of SY" or the "My photo is better than all of those on their" etc.
Members names is the last thing that comes into question when choosing the photos, as is the location of the photos chosen. What matters overall is the quality of the photos and their relevance to both the forum and SY in general.

I'm a bit confused here, Captain. In over three years, I've only "won" POTM once, and had a small number of pictures making the "six". Not complaining, as the other pictures were better and more interesting. BUT if there's a Moderator conspiracy, then you'd think one of us would win it every month? Unless of course the best pictures are making the cut regardless of who takes them? There's been some really good pictures recently, which is why its a shame to have this predictable argument. I'm sure there will be some B10Ms submitted for next month (but then we'll get complaints if there are more than one B10M pictures) In the three+ years I've been on here, I can't recall a Crookes picture making the "six", but I've not complained about that either.

1) Isn't the photographer's fault that they have more than 1 photo in the poll I never said it was - I just think it's a bit unfair. Of course it's not the photographer's fault. 2) I wouldn't say I'm good mates with Admin, unless I'm missing something....... I suspect you're missing something.

You are disrespectfull to the rest of the Forums members who have submitted pictures-not forgeting you have yourself had many selected for voting on. Apart from dragging the Forum down you are making the whole voting process a mockery.

I'm going to put the kettle on and grab some custard creams. Turning out to be much better than Coronation Street or Emmerdale this thread with some of the more recent posts...

Exactly Dougie and this is the beauty of the "Gallery" section, given that all entries per each month can be viewed and see who has submitted them. Matthew720s photos have appeared quite a number of times previously as the top 6 photos, just not this month - obviously.
