I look at it a different way, if you look at the voting it is very split, so it must mean a good selection this month which appears to a mix of member. At least we have not got a run away winning like we have had recently, which may have put people off from sending any of their photos in. Well done to people who have submitted the photo, nice selection.

To answer a few queries:
1) Photos that are submitted to us sometimes have to be cropped slightly, due to the measurements not fitting in with the set criteria as set out prior to each months background photo poll. This current measurement is 768 pixels wide by 568 pixels high. If photographs that we receive are smaller than this set requirement, they are not forwarded on for final submission. If they are larger than this, then they are reduced in size accordingly. Sometimes photos are not evenly measured so this results in the photo either been too wide, but yet fits fine in height or vice-versa and this is when part of the photo is cropped to accommodate this. Hence why Option 3 in the poll above was wide enough, but was too high (by over 500 pixels) so this needed to be cropped accordingly.
2) Photos that are chosen are chosen on each of their merits, and operators/vehicle types etc don't come into the equation, it is a PHOTO poll. We have the same every month of late and it seems no matter what photos are chosen, someone will not be happy with them. It's either the usual comments of all being in Sheffield, all being old/modern vehicles, all being too close etc. Everyone is different and what one person may dislike, another person may like etc.
