I believe it is owned by Tiger European.
For a good few few years Bellamy's used to do a private hire from Nottingham to Sheffield each Saturday for number of students, ironically also using a Lynx amongst other vehicles (also saw Metrobuses, Olympians and National 2s). I suspect Tiger took over this working last time Bellamy's had their license revoked.

That name rings a bell I was trying to read the legal lettering , get in front of the bus to take another shot, avoid getting in the way of pedestrians

Like the Marshall Dart pic - pardon my ignorance, but didnt realise there were any of these at Sheffield?!. Saying that, the Leeds ones appear to have dissapeared (probably over a year ago) - is there a link/are they now at OG?!...

NO
As far as Iam aware - they were stopping buses on Leopold st from around 110 0 and then letting them through in batches of 4/5 - this was in order to reduce the risk of pedestrian collison - I believe.
Buses were stopped after the service to allow part of the parade to march off , while the march was in progress buses were stopped on Leopold street - hence the pictures of the marching troops.
The final stop was around 1124 - 1133 . The final bus to leave after the stop was at 1134 - times taken off my camera
It is not nessesary to divert as there wasnt any real problems think we had 3 or 4 batches of buses before the parade stop. If you divert buses you have the problems of putting notices on stops and getting the public to ACTUALLY read them , then find where the new stops are. During todays operation from what I saw it wasnt nessesery to divert , the police would I understood have diverted if needed .

Having now looked throught the photos it was 2 batches of 4 and a final batch of 6 , so therefore only 14 buses were held.
