Yes, like any other business they should have just rolled over and allowed their competitors to take their business away. A well proven business model. NOT That's the job of SYPTE with their "Partnerships" isn't it?! Surprisingly, contrary to their actions, screwing up bus services is not in their remit, despite appearances to the contrary.

I'm not saying SYT should not have tried to compete, of course they should. I just meant that sometimes they gave the impression of taking the moral high ground with the attitude that they were the only 'good' bus company and that the others were not in the passengers best interest, which is debatable or at least only one point of view.

Shear and absolute chaos was the result of an earlier dogmatic Conservative Government intent on destroying municipal enterprise. ....and the result? Private, subsidised monopolies and a far worse service...We never learn!
