Impressive photos and each have their own merits. Going with 5, due to it have 3 different modes included, a bus, a train and the boats/barges on the canal. Is that taken at Eastwood down by Parkgate Retail Park? Certainly looks familiar. It's down by the 3 bridges between Parkgate and Eastwood. In the background you can see Eastwood Lock, SYTM and TATA Steelworks at Aldwarke.

Number 1 for me, SY greatest town............awaits a backlash ;D Im with you on this, good picture, taken from a rather unusual view, it's got me thinking where it was taken from to be looking down on the interchange as can't remember what other buildings are in the surrounding area.

Much as its nice to see 60604 going to its new home, I thought the whole idea of the background photo was to present the forum in a positive light, and a new person joining and seeing a bus on tow as a background may get the wrong impression of the forum.

I went with number 5.
Number 3 is good for its nostalgia value however it is spoiled by the lamppost with dog fouling warning sign in the foreground.
The B10M pictures are much the same as those that have gone before, when there is a restored bus pictured on one of its former routes it will be a worthy contender.
It is worth noting that this poll is as much about the photography in addition to the subject matter. Number 5 is a good photograph containing road, rail and water as well as the backdrop of Rotherham's industrial heritage.

Due to Option 3 and Option 6 both gaining 24 votes, both these photos will be uploaded to the forum over a two-week period. This will commence with Option 3 until Wednesday 16 May, when Option 6 will be added to the forum.
Thanks, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport
