In order:

35112 on 35A is normal - if the branded Solo isn't available a Dart will subsitute. Nothing unusual about this.

Dearne Link branded E200 on 42 is fine - service is booked Midibus, E200 is Midibus. Doncaster is in the Dearne area, so no issue.

MAN on X19 is fine - ususal substitution for a Scania

There is no schools work on 31 board - starts on 28, on to 31, then on to 29.

They are not "120 branded" - no where does the lettering on the vehicles mention "52" or "120". They have a little cartoon graphic of landmarks along the relevant route, and agreed the 120 ones do have a tiny roadsign at each end of the graphic for "Fulwood" and "Halfway" - the 52 ones only have "Woodhouse" as the space where the "Hillsborough" bit should be is taken by the side destination display! - but this lettering is so small it can barely be seen!

I wouldn't class them as route branded as no service numbers are mentioned, and the lettering is hardly prominent.

I doubt the public give two hoots about what branding, 'cartoon' or otherwise, is on the vehicle. As long as it turns up when it should, is clean and warm and driven professionally that is all that matters to 'the public'.

Incorrectly branded buses is an amusement for bus enthusiasts, not "the public"

Stagecoach Sheffield had 2 Sprytes on 120. 33248 to Halfway at top of City Road at 11:40. 33239 to Halfway on Arundel Gate at 12;03, with Enviro200 36721 behind, also to Halfway.

First had B7L on 25A going up Church Street at 08:02
