Fairly certain I saw a Barbie liveried Gemini on X78 yesterday going down Brightside at half 2.
69053 parked in OG all day today.
14 reg Streetlites appear to have mixed in with the originals today, several new on 52 and several 13/63 on 22's which I'd say will become the norm now.

Well I notice the 13/63 reg ones get mixed between the 52 and 76 all the time, so I could definitely see that happening. Same thing happens with the hybrids for Stagecoach of course even though they're supposed to be allocated. 63128 and 63142 were among the new buses on the 52 today. 63137 was on the 97 tonight as well. I still haven't warmed to the StreetLites and I still think they won't last as long as the B10BLEs they are replacing. I was on 63036 this evening and it feels as though the engine is being worked a lot harder than the B7RLEs they replaced. It certainly is not very quick up some of the hills between Meadowhall and the city centre. I also find the B10BLEs more comfortable with better suspension (usually) and nicer seats. They would be much better if they had a larger engine, like the six cylinder ISB unit fitted to the Enviro 300s and 400s. But I suspect I'll be in the minority with my thoughts....

Well, Streetlites are meant to have a short, cheap life really. Light buses which will pay themselves off in a much shorter time than others because of the fuel saving. The design life quoted by Wright is 8 years, some think that they'll last 6-7 in Sheffield, 8 at a push. I'm not sure what that compares to the design life of the B10BLE's from when they were new but I bet they will long out last it with operators like Transdev. Streetlites are here to stay and I bet they're very handy on bringing fuel usage down at OG. 3x better MPG compared to a B7l on 52's. It'll be interesting to see how the MicroHybrids (Flybrids) go when they arrive, Doncaster have a batch coming and I'm not sure but does Captains post in Fleet thread mean that OG is having some too?
