3 x W-DWX Optare Solos with Bradford lettering on sides heading up Granville Road just after 11am today. Anyone know what these were doing? Lost by sounds of it-should be heading for Glasgow.

63005 - 35/36, very good bus Usually a couple of Streetlites on the 35/36/37/38 now, seems to be happening even more now with the Summer reduction. Good to know, they're a hell of a lot nicer than the B7Ls on this group of routes. The B7Ls here are far worse than the exact same buses in Ireland, don't understand why as Cork's B7Ls work routes just as hilly and bumpy as OG's ones do and are of similar age. The Cork ones still have power on the hills for starters, most of them also sound a lot better than the ones here do. Then again FSY Volvos go around day after day with problems that identical buses at home simply do not have; Cork's Volvos don't have the loud front suspension that pretty much every FSY Volvo has (how the drivers put up with it is beyond me, it would drive me mad if I had to listen to that every day for 8-9 hours), or the Nilfisk sound, or the rattly interior (in the case of the Geminis) to name but a few defects. I've noticed that the B7Ls have diversified now as well and turn up on routes normally operated by the B10BLEs (which is a terrible pity as the BLEs are better in every possible way but I suppose with more BLEs due to be withdrawn, this is a sign of things to come even after the summer reduction). Lots of B9TLs on the 97/98 today but I think this is normal nowadays on Sundays.
