For those that haven't spotted them today, at least some of the E400s have now entered service on the 51.

Shouldn't todays sightings and observations be in a new September thread?
Regards, Darren.

For those that haven't spotted them today, at least some of the E400s have now entered service on the 51. All 15 out and about - 3 on 95's. 60654 made it onto the 95 as a changeover for one by 4pm.

I wonder how the E400s got on today, saw one of them pulling away from Western Bank this afternoon and maybe it was the driver, but it seemed to have no power whatsoever pulling away.
It will be interesting to see how these compare to the B9TLs in the long run, Enviro 400s are very much a second rate bus compared to a B9TL Gemini. I can only assume they were bought on cost grounds over more B9TLs (although the B9 is sadly no longer available in Europe anyway), as they are nowhere near as good a bus. Since they are just a Trident in a fancier frock, it will be interesting to see how reliable they are, especially with the legendary unreliability of Stagecoach's E400 hybrids here not to mention FSY's Tridents.
