Yeah, thats 444 (N144BWG) which has been in service a few days now. Saw it on Hexthorpe on Saturday - looked smart (and worryingly like it had never been away!)

Ah yes, I saw it on the 71 too, indeed it did look good.
So is the plan to work the new extended 76 with these - or will they release the T reg B6s from other routes (Lothian?) to move to the 76? Or will DO's allocators do their normal and put a B10M, NLF Dart or Solo on it?

I have no idea of what the allocation on the 76 will be! The 76 is SPUD and there is no plans to alter that, the 63 was going B6LE (as well as other routes) BUT of course neither type can be fully used. I suppose the reality is that it will be any low floor, but maybe B6LEs for 76. The only problem there is the older buses that would then be used on the Clay Lane part.
In summary - ?

Yeah, Sheffield originally! They have returned from Devon & Cornwall where they have been since 2002.

The B6LE is quite a rare vehicle, and all 10 that were sent to D&C will ultimately return to SY. That leaves D&C without B6LEs, but they do have the later B6BLE.

I found a few pictures of these the other day on the internet. I'll try and find the link though the pictures are really dark because of poor lighting in the depot (Rotherham).
