This bus was on service 79 today, at half past 2, it was 10 minutes late out of departure and was seen in rotherham interchange still in yorkshire terrier colours, and advertising stagecoach sheffield tickets!!!
Think this is one of the buses that of any depot is short on a bus it can drift off to another depot, so not sure if it was at barnsley depot today, or on loan to rawmarsh depot, will keep my eyes peeled tomorrow though.

Of the above, 30223, 30227 and 30232 are now out of service, so there are two left at Barnsley (30200 + 30210) and 2 at Ecclesfield (30211 + 30215)

They have been taken out of use as they are surplus to requirements. Don't get your point about 30232 - it's been a Terrier bus for many years, so not a "latest edition" (or even addition ?) at all. It's a N reg B6 !

The "strange front end" is the revised front grille design fitted to all Alexander Dash bodied vehicles made from mid-way through the M registration year onwards. Various other local vehicles have them fitted - Stagecoach M512 TRA (30230) and N929 / 930 / 931 CKW (30234/5/6) spring to mind. I'm sure the pair of Alexander Dash B6s that First SY have have got this front end too. May I point you in the direction of your own Fotopic site ! stagecoach.yorkshire.fotopic.net/p36975820.html
