Id imagine its more a case of The Solo & Primo do runs to dinnington just once they get there instead of waiting 1hr45 ish they do a 251 to crystal peaks and then one back hence why one run will be a solo the next the 2nd bus which in this case is a Primo. If the timetable i saw is right the first bus to dinnington from firbeck etc is alot later than previously and the last bus back to firbeck is alot earlier so even though they have a link to Maltby they seem to have less of a link to nearby dinnington.

This bus was on the 08:05 and 17:30 from rotherham interchange, and YN55 KMV was on the 15:16 from thrybergh, and 15:30 from rotherham, it seems that YN56 OWP i the main 122 bus, and YN55 KMV is just on the dinnington runs in the daytime.

Also the 122 as being getting rather full lately, espcially the 15:16 bus from thrybergh as it runs in front of the 37 so picks up the extra passengers along the 37 route.

On the 3 today I rode YN56 AHY, another new TML Solo in the red livery. As well as carrying timetables for the 3 it had some for the 122 as well so I guess it will show up there at some point?

This bus was on the 122 again this afternoon, and was standing room only, the bus was packed from thrybergh all the way to mushroom rounderbout, then was half full on the way into town, so looks like this route is doing really well now.

Well from what ive seen recently of buses arriving into and leaving rotherham loadings are usually roughly between 0 - 8 passengers so not all journeys are that busy. Is this one of the runs that passes a school at hometime? if so id imagine the only reason its full is due to kids paying 40 and getting what ever bus shows up first. From what ive read on here 122 users thought the powells 122 was a good service so i dont see how changing to TM, getting different LF's, different timetable but same frequency would effect usage in anyway.
