Well, it wasn't actually in the square, but behind the big screen. It had Wrightbus on the front, side and W on the rear LED displays. I'm not sure whether that the ALX400 was actually doing the X78 route as it was just parked. Ah so it was on the Road near to Gamestation, but still what would a Olive Grove vehicle be doing in Rotherham, unless of course Rotherham are to receive 21 new Wright Eclipse Volvo B9TL Geminis for the X78 again and swap the current Rotherham Vehicles which could go on the Olive Line in Sheffield ;D Sounds a little what Tom was saying, with First advertising the 205 service with a Olive Grove B7L! They had a Rotheham vehicle in Sheffield last year for the Fright Night -- so probably just a case of using one of the newest vehicles for publicity purposes-- also have you thought it may have never left Rotherham since it arrived in SY? as there were at least 3 of them in Midland Road still last week

Some B7Ls are to be transferred to rotherham instead of B10ms. No fleetnumbers as yet, it was dropped on us today and we cannot hand pick what we want shut of (not that it makes any difference!). The planned introduction of B9s will go ahead although the council are yet to trim the trees back in shiregreen.

Presume that is later in the year and not a result of the new buses about to enter service?

I was thinking that you were getting ready for a disappointment with B7Ls on 52 dougie They are far inferior to the B10BLEs. The ex-Bradfords are nice aren't they, I've not been on a bad one, even R135JYG sounds normal now (after being very ropey at first).

Had 60799 (R132 JYG) this morning on the 52, still got it's map of Bradford in the "leaflet" rack by the driver (showing where the weekly ticket boundaries are), which was an interesting touch I'd be happier sticking with the random assortment of B10BLEs than the B7s, they're only a couple of years younger, but sound sh (ahem) tired out*, the seats on the B7s are rock hard, just not the same... Rotherham can have them! * - to be polite!
