I dont think it would be very practical somehow. Mind you-3rd party accidents or claims would be easy to sort: "Ah yes mrs x, that was one of our buses that scraped your car".

60707-60711/60713-716 and 60719 have recieved a new style of advertising. They are fabric/nylon panels attached to the O/S of the buses and cover two window bays. They are attached to a frame by velcro and advertise the Postcode lottery.

I see we have the Red version then , prefer the Green version, now that really does look like a packet of Refreshers, only seen it on a Arriva Olympian though up on Tyneside.

If you prefer green look at the other side then ;D I was aiming for both sides, but by time I got to the stop, the bus had started setting off.

They are attached to a frame by velcro and advertise the Postcode lottery. We trialled these for Viacom - they're hideous, allow water ingress and prevent people looking out of the window. Also, the POstcode Lottery is marketed as 'Scotland's own Lottery' up here. It's that small country thing creeping up again. Bloody Carol Smillie!

I've seen a few of those going around - if you open the window it's no good as the back of the sheet is there!
The pink/purple things look hideous.

Egits fitting them broke a window-like to see them in a few weeks after bus wash has done its destructive best.

I was thinking that, wouldn't the bus wash rip the fabric off. Can it also be changed?

Mm, lets think about this, buses in the wash.... Mon to Friday either crocks or buses on tyres and saturday/sundays crocks moved out of the way of buses booked out. Plenty of room in bays without parking in wash these days. If crash test dummys drove through the wash properly then they would be cleaner. And it is that time of year when gritters are out so buses get black in 5 minutes.

(Unusually jumping to First's defence, and starting to believe that Moir and his boys are getting serious about quality and vehicle replacement) I have to say, that even our buses get filthy very quickly in this weather, and we've just converted to drive through washes - it's ripping the fronts off our Olympian/Royales!

Go in our washes and find number plates, mirrors, mirror arms, marker lights and radio whips. Im hoping to find cleaning manager strapped to a chair one day whilst wearing his don johnson outfit. ;D.
