This Year, I have seen 111, 112, 117 and 121 with Poppys fitted to the nearside Windscreen wiper-all on Yellow Route. I didnt see any yesterday, so must have been fitted overnight. Glad tto see these have returned again this year. Its nice to see a company supporting a cause like this one.

Not seen them on the trams as i have not been to Sheffield, but have noticed that a lot of the Rank Hovis Trucks have poppy fitted to their grills. As for the comment before about it upsetting the ethnic manority, just remember we all live in one country and are suppose to be all equal and European now.

PS: the last bit is just to stop the forum getting into trouble. Under Proboards T & C you have to be careful what you put or the site can be reported.

As my father and his generation fought, suffered and died that we might retain, amongst others, free-speech I find the previous note about Proboards rather frightening. In the name of justice and equality are we being moved toward a form of fascism? Some members of our society are openly opposed to such events as Remembrance Day. Not to be allowed to pass comment on this ,is a very dangerous situation. We could all learn a little by adopting the spirit of Voltaire!-/

This was actually quite a nice touch from Stagecoach to do and well done to them for actually doing it. Good to see that the do-gooders haven't got their way again with the same old arguments as always, "oh we can't have those in place, in case it offends the ethnic minority of the country..." What a load of rubbish. I doubt any ethnic minority is offended by Remembrance Day - please put down your copy of the Daily Mail, it is a dangerous item.

If a certain engine driver was still with us he would point out that some of the best soldiers in the army when he was in it was the Gurka's

The only time you know that a post has cause problems is when the main admin gets a PM giving him or her 48 hours to remove it or the site is closed. It has not happen to me on my site, but i know some friends who have fallen foul of it and got into trouble, without knowing. Now if only free speech was allowed!!! what we could say would be great.

Some of the Trams have been losing Poppy's, so they are only on one end, such has Trams 118 and 122. All the ones I saw today I had already noted.
