I've seen an ALX400 on the X5 that arrives Sheffield at 8.35 Monday to Friday, don't know which depot runs this journey though.
Also what else does the X5/X55 interwork with now and at what times?
The X5 arriving in Sheffield at 0835 is run by Rotherham. It's a peak board - does the X5 0525 from Dinnington, X5 0631 from Sheffield, X5 0724 from Dinnington, X78 0850 from Sheffield to Rotherham back in depot at 0926. According to the running board it should be an ALX400; I've only seen B7RLEs on it, but obviously with it being a peak board it can get anything. I think it's better suited to a decker since the 0525 trip picks up all the factory workers at Wales and the 0724 trip is a busy commuter run.
X55 0751 to Aston Comp comes off of the 56 at 0710 and then runs onto the 52 0828 from Woodhouse. Streetlite.
X55 0745 from Dinnington runs onto the 56 at 0902. Does 56s all day then does the X55 at 1716 to Dinnington. E200
X55 1438 from Dinnington to Sheffield via Aston Comp does X5s all day. (There is no 1438 X5). B9TL
Other X5 interworking Mon-Fri:
- X5 0555 from Dinnington comes off the 216 and runs out of service from Sheffield to Hillsborough for the 0715 52.
- X5 0720 arrival in Sheffield does the 0730 56, 752 to Athelstan School and back, then does X5s all day from 0921
- X5 1430 arrival in Sheffield does the 752 to Athelstan School and back, then the 1550 70 from Flat Street, 70 1640 from Dore, 70 1805 from Catcliffe to City
- X5 0721 from Sheffield does the 56 at 0620 and 0650
- X5 0918 from Dinnington does the 71A 0745 and 29 0840 to Rotherham Hospital
- There are two Olive Grove peak boards - One does the X5 0656 from Sheffield, the 105 at 0757 then the X5 0804 from Dinnington; the other does X5s at 1441, 1538, 1646
X5 1616 from Sheffield is run by Rotherham and comes off the 701 (as already mentioned)
- The X5s at 0440 from Dinnington, 2001, 2101, 2331 from Sheffield are run by Rotherham and come on/off the X78
- Evenings the X5 interworks with the 69. There are three buses on the X5 - one from Rotherham which comes off the 69 and two from Olive Grove which come off the 52
X5 interworking Saturday:
- The 216 is run by Rotherham. Comes off of a 75 and runs light from Dinnington to Doncaster for the X78
- The X5s at 0525, 0631 and 0725 run onto the 22. It's a single deck working although the 0525 trip is very busy with the factory workers from Wales (just as in the week).
- The X5s at 0531 and 0625 run onto the 0745 52 from Woodhouse
- The X5s at 0655, 0755 from Dinnington and 2001, 2101, 2331 from Sheffield are run by Rotherham and come on/off the X78
- Evenings interworks with the 69. Again there are three buses - one from Rotherham which comes off the 69 (and earlier in the day 22s) and two from Olive Grove with one coming off the 52 and one coming from the 22
X5 interworking Sunday:
- Olive Grove do the 0525, 0631 and 0725 X5s and the 0820 and 0855 69s. All others are done by Rotherham.
- 2331 X5 from Sheffield comes off of a 69 and not the X78. Still run by Rotherham
