Every time i ty to post on Unusual sightings & Allocations i get a screen saying 'Your request was timed out. The next time that happens, try hitting refresh (F5). If it asks you to re-submit a form, then click yes as this will then post your message onto the forum. Not aware of any problems myself and have just been checking the forum now and the servers and all seems well. If the problem persists, please let me know and I'll forward your comments on to the relevant people so that the problem can be investigated. Thanks, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport

I have just had a message that has said there are too many connection to the server. Not only on here, but on my own site as well. Just check Proboard Support and having read some of the post on their, a problem has been going on for the last two weeks. They are suppose to be making some changes later today.

The fleetlists page isn't showing. My antivirus says that it's blocked due to phishing and I continued anyway and it shows a form from proboards to fill in with personal details.

The simple fact of the solution is the hard drive that houses the data for the website and most of the JAVA scripts for the forum is knacked, and keeps having intermittent problems. At the moment I am looking for another hosting company that can handle/deal with the amount of traffic we receive and also the space of the website files on the whole - thankfully at the moment the advertising revenue pays for this.
There appears to be no quick fix available, so until this happens the main "HostVoice" template may appear a few times. I just find it amazing how when the websites go down, there is no information provided, but they direct users to one of their paid advertisement pages.
Thanks, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport

I am sorry but i find all this very strange. I have two Proboard sites and have friends who have proboards site and don't have half the trouble this site has. My site is very rarely down and if it is, if you check Proboard support, it is always listed on there. I can count on one hand this year how many times they have been down and none of my members every complain that they get "Hostvoice" template up, what ever that is.

Who mentioned anything about the forum? The problem relates to the external hard drive for our website. Some JAVA scripting is hosted on this hard drive and when the website fails, this can cause small glitches to some aspects of the forum, but nothing major.

You did. If you read Reply 23 you say most of the Java scripting for the forum is knacked. That was the bit i could not understand. I am now with you when you are on about the main website. I only have one friend who has a Website, i know he has no trouble with the host, but does not put much on it.

Yes, looks like you have got confused there Barry. Its not the Java scripting which is the problem, its the intermittent failures when the website server goes offline, these scripts then no longer work/perform as they should and this is when the forum receives the minor problems, such as slower loading times for some pages, etc.
Thanks, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport

For around the last 3 days the fleetlists/maps/information/jam cams area has not worked & in the quick reply box the spell check has been missing.

I've also been having issues with slow loading times/pages half-loading/no connection whatsoever intermittently over the past couple of days.
