Would it be possible to have a "Let's all Slag off Tates Travel" forum and move all the posts from other threads into this forum?
Failing that, a bit of moderation? It just seems that whichever thread I end up in there's a tates argument. ta very much.

Dear Traction22,
Many thanks for your feedback and we will take this into account. Of course we have taken action before, but then get called that we are being biased towards one certain operator against another and so on. So we have to take an informal and unbiased approach towards these arguments. Though we do constantly review topics and threads on the forum and this will now be taken into consideration and looked at in more detail.
Thanks, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport

What concerns me is when we have "friends of a certain operator" comming on with information or coments that are not accurate
ie the implication that the only traffic court appearance had been some time ago when they had been in court the week before .
If this was a matter of knowing htat the info was wrong and trying to cover up the latest traffic court then that is wrong.
If these people who claim to be the worlds experts on this company dint know they had been in court then I think its time to give up.
This forum is getting terrible , it does make me wonder if its worth comming on.

The problem with the Forum at the moment is, people are just not posting information and unless this changes there will not be a Forum.
Yes i will hold my hand and say i am one who has stop posting a lot of stuff, simply because if you do it gets out of hand, because people always know better then you.
So 4 weeks ago when at Meadowhall, La Senza had a routemaster there it never got put on here and i have stopped posting when i see scrap vehicles heading to Carlton which i knew then would go into M & T.
This has just happened with the fire on the Stagecoach bus in Sheffield. On the new Stagecoach Forum, i posted it, a one thread comment, simply and to the point. On here at the last count it had got to 4 pages.

Barry, your last point makes no sense, you say people are not posting anything and this will make the forum "dry up" you then moan that 4 pages worth of postings is on the "stagecoach bus fire" is also too much. I'm sorry, but just what point are you trying to make?
Seems to be a bit contradictory.
I also like the way how some people are trying to play the blame game here, yet its fine for them to spout off pages of tripe against other operators... That is where my problems comes in and yes its not good to see things get messey and is it even worth falling out over. Some people have moaned about the '22 service' thread, with some single members been singled out - yet this is only the same in the other boat with other threads on the forum. If you can't take it, don't give it is my motto!

Mainline,
How much of that 4 pages of the Stagecoach Bus Fire is actually needed and how much of it is rubbish. All we needed to know was which bus, where it happened and did ever one get off safely. Then when it is withdrawn and possible when it is either put back in service, or scrapped.
As for the 22 service thread, i agree that is out of control because, if i put on today that at 9am the 22 was heading into Barnsley empty at Stairfoot (which it was and have a photo of it), someone will put it had 30 on it, possible because they work for First and they are trying to hype the service up. We need to get people posting, but also to keep the thread to a manageable length, because if not it just get boring trying to read them and also we get to the point were people start complain that the same information end up in more then one thread.
As for your comment if you can't take it, don't give it, well this last couple of weeks i have took it and yes i have given it out as well.

Couldn't agree more with you Barry. An excellent summary if you don't mind me saying. I think the main point to remember here is that we are all different and personally I haven't found a problem with many posts of late, I would also question some of the posts as to whether they were "direct attacks" or just people getting their point across slightly in the wrong way. Depends its on how we view this and take it onboard. As what one person may take as nothing, some person may take offence to it etc. As for the comments about the employees of certain operators, what do we honestly expect. Afterall you're not going to bite the hand that feeds you, are you?

Thank you, when i think about it, i do sometimes get it right.
Of course with the employees of certain operators, of course they are not going to bite the hand that feed them.

The problem with the point about people not sharing information is that not everyone has access to sources of information, all we can do is post sightings and discussions. If that's not what some people are wanting to read then it's too bad, this is a discussion forum after all!

What was irritating about this thread was First/Stagecoach employees and those not employed by either said it was doing ok but then you.... well

Or when we drop subtle hints of impending changes or happenings we get the "spill the beans/put up or shut up". Maybe we should have a week or two of First employees not posting anything at all regarding happenings within First, im pretty sure some Stagecoach employees are the same. Then there are the shadowy figures connected to official organizations character assassinating.

If we're talking about stopping drivel being posted, then those members who come on about once a week and feel the need to create useless posts in literally every thread on the forum have to be stopped! I log on expecting something interesting when I see the 'new' icon, however it is somebody repeating exactly what has been said before.
Another issue is those member who keep asking for the same lists over and over again..just read through the last pages of the thread!
