As the Captain has said in another thread, if the new livery is only being applied to buses up to 07 reg, then the above B10BLE isn't going to happen!
Although, in my opinion the 'boxy' look of older Wright models (Renown/Crusader etc) suits the this livery more than the curvy Urban's and Gemini's.

Let's say the B10BLEs were to be given a full refurbishment like Transdev Burnley did with some of theirs, then why shouldn't they get the new livery, as they are to all intents a new vehicle in the passengers eyes.
Anyhow, some Presidents have gained it before heading to Anglia for service, and they are older than 2007.

A full refurbishment on the B10BLE's would be great in my opinion. However, are they worth it?

Yes B10BLE's are so much better than B7L's in so many ways.

I was thinking in more of a financial point of view...I seriously doubt the B10BLE's are going to get any form of major refurbishment, maybe just re-seating?
Unless this new 'we believe buses are the future' campaign is going to be obvious to the travelling public? We know that there have been (ongoing) changes within First, apart from a new (less than appealing - in my opinion) livery and slogan, and advert campaign which has been criticised, not much seems to be happening.
Hopefully there are some exciting changes to come - but it doesn't seem to be looking good, for OG at least.

If its refurbed then its going to get the new scheme. First arent going to entertain painting battered old tubs.

Yes B10BLE's are so much better than B7L's in so many ways. Yes. There's some sheddy B10BLEs and some good B7Ls though too.

It's a shame the B10BLEs aren't going to get the new livery applied to them. From the picture done on thre previous page it looks very good and is well suited. It looks better on a single decker than a double decker in my opionon.

I did this quickly a few weeks ago - not a First bus but still shows what the livery might look like. Plan to do a FSY one in future! The only bit I think I've got wrong is the front of the bus - think the paper bus that markkno16 did has the correct front.

Interesting to see in 'reality', Woah. Here's a Volvo B10M Alexander PS (later bodywork - althoguh there isn't a vast amount of change) nearly completed. When it is I shall put it up in Mainline livery. Attachments:
