Welcome to the thread & poll for the January 2012 Background Photo. We'd like to thank all members who submitted photos to us this month and to all members who have submitted photos in to us since August 2006. Sadly there can only be 6 photos that go through to the poll and these have been carefully selected by the staff members on the forum.
We would ask all members to vote in the poll so you can have your say and cast your vote for the photo which you think deserves to be placed on the background of the forum. Remember if you are a new member you will not see the background photo by default. In order to view the background photo you need to select the SYT skin in your profile.
Poll Closing Date - The Poll will be closed automatically on Sunday 1st January 2012, and the new background photo will be uploaded on to the forum on that date.
How To Select - You just simply look at the numbers at the side of the photo, select your best one, out of the 6, then vote for that number in the poll. In the event of a tie, both photos will be displayed on the forum for a period of 2 weeks each.

Number six for me.
Whilst one and five are "unusual" (vehicles on loan), three is a new bus to the area and four is a "new" livery (in modern times), six is a "normal" picture that will soon be "old" (if the Olympians really are all leaving Olive Grove before the Christmas decorations come down) - I'm a fan of what will soon be "tomorrow's history".
Plus its a well composed picture, not a "typical" image.

Number 6 without a shadow of a doubt, the other pics are too focussed on just the bus rather than capturing a full scene with a bus included within the shot, Congrats to who ever took it!

Whilst all the shots are good and six is lovely too - I would personally have liked to have seen an Olympian closer up as a send off for the (mostly wretched) thing.
Think it might have to be option five though, in the hope that we can see a closer picture of an Olympian for next month!

Number 6 for me as well. ...I would personally have liked to have seen an Olympian closer up as a send off ... Just for you Woah (and probably 2101). I was going to enter it but forgot about the cut off date for entries. 34242 on 5th January 2010  How very dare you  |
