Hmmm an electric bus going up East Bank Road and tackling Lodge Moor in the snow...I can't see it working well. Atleast the trusty B9s are still waiting in the wings to take over when it all goes wrong. All a little academic as it is it Doncaster now I believe. thought it was for OG 51 service og needs some deckers particularly September approaching with ageing 371/ 372 fleet deckers same as thought 69442 was for OG as a replacement for 630 withdrawn fleet

Sat outside the Punch with the Crossroads assistance van if it helps.

It won’t be when it runs out, or infinitely more likely when it becomes so expensive that bus services become no more. The next round of funding from central government will likely ensure the remaining urban cities becomes mainly electric at much lower cost than market rate.

Pretty sure I saw 33725 today. Is that staying or earmarked for transfer?

It’s a demonstrator, the idea generally is for it to be trialled to decide what buses to buy Shame about 69442 isn’t it

I would hazard a guess it will either be a Streetdeck or an ADL 400 MMC. I have read that First worn't happy with the build quality of the last batch of Streetdecks and the MMCs are proving popular, First bought single deck versions for Sheffield in 2016. That said, First have a long standing relationship with Wrightbus.

The next planned demonstrator is a Yutong. I understand there is a plan for a BZL single deck to visit too.
63015 63018 63019 63022 all off fleet. 37250 37252 37253 37254 arrived from York.

Not seeing any of the Ex FSY Streetlites on the Ensign bus website, only ex Hadleigh ones...with so many seemingly withdrawn, it seems strange. Possibly being re-leased to another operator?

I was on YN07MKO earlier, I noticed that on the inside of the wear windscreen and on the driver's dashboard there are black "nuggets" that look electrical/magnetic,does anyone know what these are for? I wondered if they were to open security gates at York University.
