Final collapse of the X7 after many years... Yes and yet a driver told me that the peak services were profitable, but that was about 9 months ago!

Looks like more cut backs from Stagecoach in the Dearne Valley

Final collapse of the X7 after many years... Yes and yet a driver told me that the peak services were profitable, but that was about 9 months ago! Could the X6 have taken some passengers from part of the route? A more frequent and regular service up to Wickersley

Final collapse of the X7 after many years... Never used it, but to sorry to see it go, one of the few routes run since deregulation (as far as I am aware) and a rare example of a "rush hour only" service becoming an "all day" service (as happened a year or so ago, before it was cut back to rush hours only I don't know if the X6 has much of an effect as the X6 never looks too busy either

There had never been the demand for an all day bus to Sheffield and still isnt. The routing of the X7 round flanderwell just made sure its demise came sooner rather than later by ensuring the journies got slowed down. Trying to be clever and failing in a big way. The X6 has cornered the market in fresh air and any advantage it may have had has been lost with the continued addition of deviations in a futile attempt to get people to use it. It does have a couple of trips that may just be viable but the rest are a total waste of resources. I said at the time and still maintain that the resources would have been better used covering the gaping hole that is there between Maltby and Rotherham with constant gaps of up to one hour in the existing service.

x20 cancelled didn't see that coming any replacement?
Also Stagecoach 49 really they split the service in two and then less than a year later it's gone to another company.

According to Powells website, they are talking over service 6 in Sheffield from TM travel. TM seem to be getting rid of more and more work. There was a time when they seemed to have a lot of contract work. Is it me or are they gradually slimming down?
