I was on a bus recently where the driver had reported low fuel several times and control told him to keep going, which he did and it conked out at the bus stop en route.

Bus drivers also are smart enough to report a bus that's running low on fuel and probably won't take it if they don't think the bus has enough fuel for the trip it's needed for. Are they? There’s a difference between drivers who want to break down and lose mileage, and those who would rather not. But as also has been said, not always up to us. |

Spotted an E400MMC in Chesterfield this morning out of service, not a Gold one, in local livery. I don't suppose anyone knows what that is about? Was on Ashgate Road so not even a (current) route.
Also, not sure if it's an oddity with the tracking or a change of depot, but 27824 started today on a 21 at Barnsley but is currently on the 25 route in Chesterfield, but still tracking as a 21.

Also, not sure if it's an oddity with the tracking or a change of depot, but 27824 started today on a 21 at Barnsley but is currently on the 25 route in Chesterfield, but still tracking as a 21. Possibly 11705 on loan for Barrow Hill Real Ale Festival. |

Noticed you never see Stagecoach Holbrook drivers change men over. Certainly not in the city centre. For example, the First 120 changes over at the Interchange. The First 52(a) changes over at Arundel Gate. Never see Stagecoach 52 drivers or 120 drivers changing... although I have seen Stagecoach staff cars parked at Crystal Peaks, so perhaps they change there? Not sure what the gents on unit 52 do though, definitely not seen them change over at Woodhouse, Handsworth, City, Broomhill or Hillsborough.

Stagecoach driver changeovers take place as mentioned Woodhouse Peaks Ecclesfield outside depot or round corner at stops outside pub and Morrison's also changeover at Hillsborough for 61/62. But you forgetting that there's females that drive buses aswell |
