Option 3, since they are my local buses and contain a forum member on the picture! (think that would have to be a first?) There as been a forum member featured in the monthly photo before modesty prohibits from from saying who it was

Number 1 as it is something different and I really love that livery, suits the bus very well.

A very good selection of photos once again this month. I'm going for the shiny Volvo ALX200 in Stagecoach livery though (Option 6) this month.

It looks like it will be a close one this month. Currently 3 are drawing at the moment! Not seen one this close before!

4 for me. Nice bit of steam! What connection does this train have with South Yorkshire?

1 - Never seen the bus, nor heard of it. 2 - The HST just looks a state with mismatched liveries. 3 - Too bland, all I will see of the background is the people at the sides. 4 - Lovely steam engine, but we've had one of those this month, time for a change. 5 - Nice bus, looks a little battered, but havn't had one of them as the background before. 6 - It's a B6LE...terrible bus, but looks extremely smart! By the way, above I am not criticising the photographers themselves, just the subject of the photo; they're all great photo's so well done to applicants. Based on that, I say option 6 this month! Markno16, 26127 is at Rotherham for a repaint and is then for use from Holbrook depot in Sheffield (no doubt to be used on the 52 with the other DAF's).

What connection does this train have with South Yorkshire? It came though South Yorkshire and the photo was taken at Dodworth station And I thought the poll was about South Yorkshire based vehicles/events? Doesnt this now leave the door wide open for so many different things?

And I thought the poll was about South Yorkshire based vehicles/events? Doesnt this now leave the door wide open for so many different things? This argument seems to come around every time the thread appears. If we go by the above logic, this rules out all trains (as there isn't a train depot in SY) and most aircraft - there are only a couple of Thomson's based at DSA and even these change around quite frequently. So all you have as a background would be a bus, a coach or - god forbid - a YL-YU registered car/taxi/van. As long as the picture is IN SY, does it really matter where the said vehicle comes from? I may submit my A380 over-the-top picture for the next poll....
