***PLEASE READ*** Page Loading Problems (Read 436 times)

Some users have reported problems loading forums. We are trying to determine the exact cause of the issue. If you are having this problem, please post the following information for us to review:

PLEASE INCLUDE ALL INFORMATION

1) Please fully describe exactly what the problem you are experiencing is.
2) What browser are you using?
3) What version number is it? Usually under the help section of your browser there will be an "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox" link which will bring up the version number. For example, I am posting using Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001.18372
4) Do you use any anti-virus software? If so what type including version number?
5) Are you attempting to access the forum via a bookmark?
If so:

5.1) Go into your Manage Bookmarks section of your browser and copy the exact URL that is bookmarked and paste it as your reply for 5.1.
5.2) After you open this bookmark in your browser, what does the URL say at the top of your browser when it is looping (copy and paste it exactly please)?
5.3) Try deleting the bookmark and typing in the URL to the forum manually. Are you able to access the forum this way?

I don't know whether anybody has experience problems with the pages refreshing on here? It appears to be a problem across all forums hosted by Proboards.

My problem is been thrown out of the chat room frequantly wehn you try to get back in says already in - very annoying

The latter will occur if your previous session wasn't correctly terminated (i.e. your browser didn't tell the chat system you were leaving) - so the system thinks you're still there just being very quiet.

A solution which should work is to use a different name.
