....exactly Andy ! - i did not know of its existence for years , till yesterday , thats why i am so pleased to know it is still in existence ! Shame that someone could not save the Bendibus last year before Top Gear got their hands on it and subsequently trashed it ! I think to keep us "enthusiasts" in the know about the probable existence of pre - local vehicles-around the world !- must surely be to our benefit - especially if a local group could secure a "first refusal" deal where they would be offered first chance of purchasing if said vehicle became for sale

I hope someone can persuade Rabbit skip hire to bear us enthusiasts in mind when they feel they are in need of selling it, I for one would stump up some cash to save it

...yes , that would have been 287 , as it was the only open topper to recieve the Mainline livery , after some time in SYT livery after conversion.

The current owner has kindly sent me this latest picture taken 3 weeks ago. It had had another repaint and passed its mot and has been used at Goodwood raising money for charity. Its going to be at Littlehampton Iron man contest in the next week or two so its looks like its still going well img.photobucket.com/albums/v692/andyrad/Buses/287rabbit.jpg

....great find Jimmy ! - she sure looks well - and still got the original Sheff Trans spec blue seats as well !- nothing short of a quick repaint into SYT or Mainline livery to finish !!! Heres a pic when 287 was used back home for the infamous Don Valley Tour !.....
