The N-CKYs will survive for a while long yet within First Group, its just that these will be the ones with other operations, such as 60597 - 60600 that are still in service, down in Somerset.

They've just withdrawn 60587 at Glasgow according to their fleetlist. Glasgow have in service: 60580, 60582, 60586, 60587, 60593, 60594, 60594. Never know: Glasgow might have those in their trainer fleet to replace the G NWAs they currently have.
Edinburgh have in service: 60578, 60579, 60581, 60583, 60585, 60588, 60590, 60591, 60592, 60596, 60601.
Hampshire still have in service: 60521, 60522, 60523, 60524, 60529 which I can't see lasting much longer.

Way behind FSY! N reg darts are newer than these. These are H THLs! They do still have them. I believe the seats have been retrimmed and had the poles inside painted. H679/80/1/2/7THL.

The B10M's that are down at First Hampshire have had a repaint on the outside which included the removal of the cover things on the wheels (look more like Glasgow versions), had the nearside blind removed & had the poles repainted although still have the roller blinds on front & are starting to gain advert frames on the sides.
Down at Hampshire they still have a number of step entrance Darts, Beavers& Deckers some of which are older than ours (at least one is a K-reg example).

Yes but those H THLs must be about the oldest buses in the entire fleet (except trainers) musn't they now? I can't see Hampshire having any older than that or have they? They have had their seats retrimmed with corporate fabric. From what I remember that grey fabric was in a right mess. They all still have roller blinds on the front.

The Beaver which I had the pleasure of catching today! If South Yorkshire's anything to go by, the Darts and Beavers will go before the bigger and more reliable B10M's.

Thank you Pacer92 and maltabus. I heard that 622 went from GR to DO because it killed someone in the depot and after that nobody would drive it at GR. True or not I am unsure? Tragic night as well as the 622 incident another life was lost at RO involving Renault 372 So it happened at night time then, that might explain why the fitter couldn't be seen in the rear mirror. If you look at the rear of 622 in pictures like the one in the link, you can see dints in the rear bottom panelling, I wonder if that was from the fitter banging on the side to warn he was there. I assume the engine needed to be running to test the reversing beeper and someone decided to drive it to the fuel tanker not knowing the fitter was underneath.

An B10M has been saved as it’s stored at SYTT One? I think you will find there are at least 3.I believe that one has been scrapped but still at least 3 there.
