I got some photos for my collection yesterday and I was wondering what they were bought for and if would help me out?
I know some of the early G NWAs were 52 branded, they tended to do 51/47/48/93/41 along with the H THLs didn't they. I've got a pic of 627 on 41 and it looks very different with that seating and same with 625 on 51. In RO the H THLs were mainly on 101/102, 137/138. I've seen early pics of the J AWFs on 97, M VETs on 42/53, N CKYs: 741-760? on X78, later ones branded for 81/82/83/84. I'm not sure though. I was wondering why 60608 was reseated because it didn't do anything like the reseated H THLs did, did it?

G-NWAs: 601-638 New to Sheffield Depots 639-641 New To Doncaster 601-621/623-638 were refurbished in the Mid-Nineties into Mainline spec. 622/639-641 didn't get refurbished because they were at Doncaster Depot, 622 moved to Doncaster because I believe it crushed a fitter at Greenland Road depot. H-RKUs: 642-650 all new to Doncaster Depot for use on the Hatfield/Cantley/Armthorpe routes.

622 swopped with 639 and belived it was refurbed. 771 (60608) was a fire victim -- parts from w/drawn 644 used in rebuild inc back end hence the smaller window.

Thank you Pacer92 and maltabus. I heard that 622 went from GR to DO because it killed someone in the depot and after that nobody would drive it at GR. True or not I am unsure?

I don't get what the ******** get out of doing things like that. I take it that it was in First days as it was trimmed with First material. If I'm correct it is still in Faded Magenta livery. Only 2 N CKYs of ours are: 765 and 771 if I'm correct.

How many were withdrawn early due to being damaged beyond repair over the years? I can think of 4 - 644 (RTA) 653 (RTA) 691 (fire) 722 (fire)
Out of 180 buses over some 15-20 years thats not bad going at all.

665 written off at Crystal Peaks when an esteemed colleague of mine hit a N-CET Dart. 702 was the one that hit the pillar in front of Primarks in Castle Square. IIRC 686 was the B10M that had the bad RTA with 2404 at the Wetherby crossroads Swallownest. Repaired.

741 - 748 were used almost exclusively on the X78 by DO when new. 749 - 754 were also new to DO, these were mainly used on the 170 to Cantley. Think 2 were branded (750/751?) for the X88 to Moorends/Goole at one point too?

Same here but realistically I don't think they'll be one. I was hoping the N CKYs would go in the trainer fleet and then I might be able to purchase one later on! I don't think the present trainer fleet will last. Glasgow or Edinburgh might put some of their N CKYs in the trainer fleet. Who knows??? I was hoping that 60606, 60611 or 60613 (IMO the best N CKYs) would go in the trainer fleet and I might be able to get it in about 5 years time.
