Changes to the forum, commencing 1st October (Read 604 times)

Dear members,

Following a number of requests left in the feedback section and also a review into all sections on the forum, a number of changes will be implemented on Friday, 1st October 2010.

Forum Images:
The images on the homepage are all to be updated with other images from the large collection of background photo entries submitted over the last year to give it a bit of a "refresh" as requested by some members. If you have any images that you wish to be displayed in the small boxes on the main forum homepage, then please get in touch with us on - [e-mail]. Please attach the photo(s) you wish to use and for which section these are for. We do require a photo of a model vehicle for the new Modellers Section, please read below for further details about this new section of the forum.

Forum Sections:
A number of sections within the forum will be changed, some only having a small name change and/or their description, but there will be some other changes such as a new Modellers Section been launched as requested in the Feedback section, along with some other changes such as the Traffic & Travel board been re-named and Incorporated into the new Transport Surgery section, that will be making a come back from 1st October.

PS - Does anyone have a photo of a model vehicle that they could submit in to us, for the home page photo for this section of the photo please? Many thanks in advance for this.

These changes will be implemented on Friday, 1st October 2010 at around 18:00 BST. The forum will be off line to members for around 30 minutes during this work. Further details will be released closer to the time.

The forum will be offline between 1500 & 1530 BST this afternoon. This is been done ahead of schedule due to the afternoon generally been quieter than the early evening for the forum.
