I often use the proboards app to look at the group. When looking I go to latest where funnily enough you can see the latest postings. Anyway quite often I get a message saying server plug ins out of date contact site administrator.
Sometimes it clears often but today has been like it for a number of hours.
My question is what does it mean and what needs to be done to overcome it happening so often?

Hello,
If you have experienced the "Plugin Not Available" error, you can fix this issue by taking the following steps:
1) Exit the application 2) Double tap your iPhone's home button to bring up the process list 3) Hold down your finger on the ProBoards App until the icons start to shake 4) Click the red "minus" button at the top left corner of the ProBoards App 5) Click your iPhone's home button and relaunch the application
ProBoards are still looking into exactly what the root cause of this error is.
Thanks, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport

I get this fault regularly and it can stick about for a while. The app also crashes quite regularly too.

Thanks I will give it a go.
As for it crashing is it everytime you use it or now and then? I have found not only with this app but others too that it crashes but it seems it does it just so it can reload rather than there been a problem c

It seems to be one of the major problems with this piece of software at the moment, and a fix is been investigated by ProBoards, however this will not be done overnight. Following the above steps above is just a temporary fix, but if you have any further problems let me know in this thread, via PM or email and I will forward the comments on to the appropriate people in charge with this function.
As I don't have access to an iPhone myself, I can not personally check the problems, so am relying on people with access to an iPhone to forward on any problems that they may encounter whilst using the forum.

I had the plug in problem again today, I tried your solution and it worked. Thanks Glad to hear it Maltaboy. ProBoards are well aware of this problem and are trying to rectify the problem, however like said there is no long-term solution as yet sadly. Thanks, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport

Sadly the fix doesn't appear to work everytime. Half a dozen attempts to try and clear the problem to no avail.
