Nothing has changed with the platform for ages. It's built up to height, but there's no top on the platform, and there's still no extra progess at Rotherham Central itself, although more catenary masts are now appearing. It's coming, slowly, but surely.

Thanks very much for sharing, great photos and there's really not many photos of these out on test because it's usually at night.
Presumably testing has now started during normal service hours?

According to the Star there will be no trains into Rotherham for a short period over the weekend as work starts on replacing a road bridge so as to allow catenaries to be erected for the Tram-Train

It's today and will be after the official launch ceremony at the depot. It will form an unadvertised additional yellow service to Middlewood from Meadowhall. The time is dependant upon the completion of the ceremony but this will be available to all members of the general public. The tram will be named 'Theo' after Theo the Bear, the local mascot for the Sheffield Children's Hospital.
