Was it my imagination but did I see Dash8/200/300 on the service the other day? I thought the airline only operated the Q400 version these days.

Must have been the angle...it certainly appeared to be a short(er) body.

Flights not on sale after October. It's been reported that Flyby shares dropped by 41% at one time yesterday after a slump in sales. Could it be that they are simply pulling the plug on non-profit making routes?

Probably. Loads have improved since the schedule has been reduced to a skeletal form. FlyBE were notorious for being able to break-even on a relatively low load when using the Dash-8 Q400, but this is probably a sign of APD and other costs taking their toll, and they appear to be cutting away at the deadwood. Jersey seems unaffected so far.

With only flights to Jersey being offered by FlyBE it looks as if this is yet another route that the region has lost flying out of DSA.

With only flights to Jersey being offered by FlyBE it looks as if this is yet another route that the region has lost flying out of DSA. It seems that there will be no more flights in November but there will be two only in December. January - no flights. February - no flights. Flights, at present, to resume last week of March 2012. So Jersey has become solely another holiday destination.

So not only does it seem that Belfast has been pulled but Jersey is now just a seasonal operation?Whatever shall we have to talk about on here...the price of carrots maybe!
