Announced this evening on Calander is the news that Ryanair are expanding once again at Leeds Bradford, with the addition of a 3rd permanant aircraft based at the airport, with the introduction of 6 additional routes to Europe from next summer.
It was also mentioned that Leeds Bradford has now become the fastest growing airport in the UK. Good news for Yorkshire, but not so good news for our local airport in this part of Yorkshire, which still seems to be going from strength to strength.

A small positive to report regarding ryanair is that they are to operate to Girona again after a couple of years absent on the route. This should mitigate some of the losses.

My understanding is that even with this renewal DSA will still have a nett loss of two weekly flights by Ryanair.

Thanks for the correction.....another site I know doesn't seem anxious to carry the news of this net reduction.
