Dear Members,
In light of recent activity from a small selection of people on the forum, it has been noted recently that several members are regularly posting messages about other members on the forum which can only be read as rude, offensive, etc. Whilst in most situations there is no harm in posting comments about people which may be light-hearted, tongue in cheek, etc, there have been a number of posts which clearly go beyond this – in particular in the ‘Bickering’ and ‘Unusual Sightings and Misallocations’ threads.
Therefore we would like to advise everyone that in order to maintain the friendly community on the forum, if you have any comment or question about anyone else please go through the proper channels, i.e. emailing one of the moderation team, and please don't make any personal or unnecessary posts on the main forum.
Effective as of 19:30 hours on 10/05/2012, we are implementing a strict ‘3 strikes and out’ policy for all members on the forum.
Please be assured that all concerns brought to the moderators' attention are always taken seriously and looked into, however it is also our job to take everything into balance, look at things from both sides, and deal with any issues in a fair and equal way.
This message applies to all members and it will be at the discretion of each individual moderator on the forum (Admin, Dougie, Maltabus & Siy2010) to take this into account. Please also note that should any instances occur, the offending posts will be removed and the individual member will be contacted. This will be done for the first two instances, before the third period leading to a probation/ban; subjective to the matter and breach of conduct at hand.
Thank you for taking the time to read this announcement, and should you have any questions, please do contact a moderator on the forum in the first instance.
Thanks, Staff at South Yorkshire Transport
