Remarkably apart from the vehicles nothing as actually changed much on this shot as it most of the building are still there

On the face of it, perhaps, but note:

The absence of road side signage , old style street lighting and no yellow lines. Obviously there is no supertram but note, fewer if any buses.One large building demolished...to be replaced by a 1960s structure which is currently occupied by Primark and Arundel Gate and the old and to some,much lamented, "hole in the road" was still to be built.

The nearest car which is parked on the road ,is a newly introduced Vauxhall Victor, with its trans - Atlantic styling...This became a major success in export markets.
