Require a bit of help on a former YTC Rawmarsh service, the former 225 service from Rotherham to Thurnscoe? Can anyone recall the exact or vague route this service took from Rotherham to Thurnscoe? Was it similar to the YTC 70 service from Rotherham to Thurnscoe or different?
I do believe it followed the 226 route between Bolton and Thurnscoe, but not 100% sure on that. Just struggling to remember the Rotherham end of the journey.

From memory the route to Bolton was Rotherham - Rawmarsh - Wath - Manvers - Bolton, it didn't go round Kilnhurst like the 70 did For a time the 225 extended to Meadowhall with a 8am departure from Sheffield Interchange from memory, for a time this trip ran into Sheffield as a 295 I think before becoming a inward 225 run? These trips may have been college days only.

To put it in simple terms, it was the 220 from Rotherham to Wath bus station, then the 226 from Wath bus station to Thurnscoe. From what I recall it co-ordinated with the 226 and X92 (now the 220) to provide a 15 minute service between Wath and either Thurnscoe or Rotherham.

Towards the end from memory it was a handful of infrequent trips, i think at its peak it was an hourly daytime service.

Thank you to all of you who have helped with this request. A final quick question regarding the former 225 service, can anyone remember when this service was actually withdrawn and if it ran at the same time that the 70 ran from Rotherham to Thurnscoe?
