Evening folks, I'm wondering if anyone has any pictures of the rear end of this machine? Having trawled the internet, only pictures of the front/sides appear. If anyone has a picture showing how the livery was done on the rear and could send it me, that would be ace. Not going to be used anywhere, simply for me to look at as reference to my next modelling project... Thanks in advance!

Ah, thanks! Wasn't sure what the blue did at the rear, never seen the back end of that thing before!

the model wasn't accurate on the front so you can't really assume the back is correct. you need a photo of the real thing i'm afraid

That's true, it's a better replica compared to some of stuff they bring out these days!!!
Would it be a suggestion buying this model and just modifying the faults on it?

I like to do my own finishes on them, the factory applied just looks too 'thick' in a way and loses some of the detail IMO... And the model's blue looks far too light. Plus, there's a B10BLE in Brighton and Hove livery in the post... The best I can find is this: ronandton.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/60659.pngWhich makes it look simply like a plain rear end, just '841' between the grilles. No other embellishments? I'm sure someone must have a picture somewhere! busman3 ??

It's a typical EFE model, it hasn't got a red interior for a start! Be careful if you're planning on dismantling it (which I would) - the front bumper is plastic and is very delicate. To get it apart drill out the poles through the bus from the bottom then it will drop to bits.

It should just be standard corporate interior still shouldn't it?

Yes, I'd just paint it purple. The interior comes out in one piece and is all plastic and all the windows are plastic and come out. You should be left with just a metal shell, it comes apart easily that one.

Thanks Transit, I'll bear that in mind for future reference! Bumper came out no problems and the paint is off, interior sprayed, new roof pods plus rear lights are on, going to get some NRN radio pods tomorrow and then it'll be time for paint! I'll post pics as it's going in the Modelling section from now on Big thanks to Busman3 for having a picture of the rear I was able to use, very prompt reply with one too!
