All 308...s off at Rotherham today, 305...s/311...s on 1/2s with B7Ls and BLEs on all town routes plus 66/27/29s and 2 Darts on 34/43s 30873/9/80 painted and 30879 prepped. Told that they are having a suspension modification and some modification to make them DDA compliant, not sure what or why they are non DDA at current? Are all of the 308##s now off fleet at Rotherham or just 30871 as per to the post above?

I don't usually listen to the rumour mill but I have heard on good authority that a number of exBury Ciatros are coming to South Yorkshire when they are displaced there. Is there any news on this? Not sure what Bury's Citaros are like, but I have travelled on the Bus Eireann MC class on several occasions, which are Euro 2 Citaros (and withdrawn for over a year now). While they are a lovely bus to travel on, they are a disaster for hill climbing, and there were issues with build quality if the type spends a lot of time on bad roads. I hope none are allocated to Sheffield. The B10BLEs are a much better bus. I have noticed that the new Enviro 300s have put some of Bury's Citaros on the reserve list, along with some BLEs and Scania Axcess, though. Depends on how well they are looked after. Our Citaro's are a beautiful drive and have more mod cons than you could imagine. The only downside is everything is electronic from the windows/roof vents even down to the electronic handbrake, so if not looked after well they are prone to failures. One of the biggest problems with ours is the tail swing.

It is reported 60721/722/724/725/726/727/728/729/730/742 are to transfer to Rotherham tomorrow daytime. 60725 certainly still here. I'm on it on the 52! Did the others go?

Dart just got stuck on West Hill. Driver had to reverse, get speed up to climb the hill - we only just made it. These buses are pathetic

The Streetlites are going on the 69? That's bonkers Thats the plan. Prototypes at RO because of major differences with production models such as axles.
