Trams not running to Malin Bridge today during the hours that Tramlink operates which is extended to Hillsborough using Ripley St and Forbes Rd to turn round .

Due to the details mentioned of the Tram Works the B2 was running as a cross town service, towards Shalesmoor was showing: Shalesmoor B2 All stops to City Centre, then direct to Shalesmoor, towards Spring Lane was showing normal blind.
Also seen today was a Y1 this morning around 9:30am, one of the ex Manchester E400's was on the route.

Y1 has been running all day. Trams turning short at Cathedral.

Rail Replacement Update
In summary the following service pattern will operate:
Yellow route
Trams - Meadowhall-Shalesmoor
Replacement bus - Shalesmoor-Middlewood
Blue route
Trams - Halfway-Spring Lane
Replacement Bus - Spring Lane to Hillsborough (Saturday daytime)
Spring lane to Malin Bridge (Saturday evening and all Sunday)
SL1 will continue to city centre (express service)
SL2 will extend to Hillsborough Interchange (Saturday daytime only)

What plans are there for getting thousands of fans to Hillsborough on Saturday ? Theres already replacement buses as already mentioned plus there plenty other bus services that serve Hillsborough.
