I'm pretty sure the highest FSY B9s will be 37258-37265, 37257 was always a little lower as it spent a long period VOR when it was new. They are all around 400k. Was 37257 the one which needed part of its roof replacing?

Is the mileage of 60890 comparable to 60891-60894 these days, as when at York 60890 (and 60895) were the only 2 branded buses on the 5s to have radios for quite a while, so they were being used 24/7, whereas the others worked daytime Mon-Sat.
Also 60887 spent quite a while on Park & Ride in its Norwich Union advert, so had a fairly easy life.

Will be due to the routes the vehicles have been on. The batch at Barnsley have been on the 11 to Athersley North since new which is a relatively short route in distance if compared to the work the versions at Ecclesfield have been on which are all longer distance cross City routes.

Whilst the Ecclesfield routes are longer the barnsley will run several rounds on the 11 in the time it will take a single round on the Ecclesfield stuff. Barnsley 's ones are used 12 hours a day 7 days a week mostly.

Ecclesfield routes like the 83 and 88 are fairly long (compared to "Townlines" routes in Barnsley), but the ALX300s are trapped in slow moving traffic on Ecclesall Road (etc) for much of the day, swings and roundabouts I guess

Good value for money I assume Think that will be km not miles. If they have had 6 engines in that time that is very poor. Should be getting 500,000 off an engine easy.
