Do Tates Travel have a new double decker in a yellow and green livry at present?
Heard rumors and saw a bus departing meadowhall today on the 72M but couldn't be certain.

As one of the few surviving members of island fortitude Tate's are a dumping ground for any buses not seized by creditors. This and two others came from a Cheshire operation.

They're also usually in operation on the 213 route from Dewsbury to Morley quite often

I saw DX61EOO at Meadowhall on 29th May, presumably laying over between trips as it was showing Not in Service (not that anything showed up on my photos!) I had no idea who owned it or where it had come from until I had time to hit the interweb thingy that evening. Apparently a Wright bodied Volvo B5LH which originated with Bakers as already mentioned.

Are we allowed to discuss this, as a site on Facebook has decided that any criticism of Tates or being an employee of Stagecoach will result in censorship and banning without hesitation. ?

Discuss away - I'd forgotten that Tates were still on the road tbh! Tick tock...

Discuss away - I'd forgotten that Tates were still on the road tbh! Tick tock... Well this is the point.. the "Admin" of the site seems to think D&G buses are taking Tates over, Tates are looking for some deckers and that Tates need to buy bigger premises to maintain deckers, so how have they been maintaining (allegedly) the ex Bakerbus B5LHs?.

For the benefit there are quite a few members who are also on the Facebook sites and simply having an opinion on Tates and its latest vehicle has got some of them banned-this is a little bit of humour ;-)
