Don't know if this has been answered before, but why do the Hybrids seem to struggle to rev down when they change down to first gear? It seems like they're on the rev limiter for ages they it suddenly drops down to the base rpm

It seems like they're on the rev limiter for ages they it suddenly drops down to the base rpm The small diesel engine charges the batterys. There is no gearbox just an electric motor =hybrid.

As Captain says - its because they don't have a gearbox, so they can't "drop back" into First as they're realistically already there.
