X5 network isn't a reduction with addition X55's. X5,X54,X55 will provide 15 min Sheff-Swallownest. 13 isn't a PVR reduction, 13 journeys replaced with journeys on service 23 maintaining overall 10 minute service to Rotherham hospital. Key move with that is the 23 covers Whiston to Brinsworth Academy to cover Brightbus withdrawal. Still a reduction overall as Dinnington isn't served every 20 mins and the 23 doesn't keep that 10 min frequency overall from Rotherham to Brinsworth

This reduces journey times. Frequency increase Sheffield to Aston from every 20 to every 15 with the X54 running to Harthill again offering reduced journey times to Sheffield City Centre.

The other 2 are not.

Stagecoach turning the 108/109 into the 8/9 after First turned most of their two digit Rotherham services into three digit ones...
Does anyone know the frequency for the 73 and 74? If Brinsworth to Rotherham is to be four/hour then that suggests half hourly each (?) but that would mean an increase in the Sheffield - Richmond service compared to the current 40.
Brinsworth to Rotherham seemed over-bussed at a ten minute frequency (plus the TM 31), so going back to four/hour isn't a big surprise.
Good to see improvements to Waverley which has seen a growing population, improved links to Sheffield and Meadowhall.
36 makes sense from Sheffield to Wingfield - people are more likely to do through journeys from Sheffield to Blackburn/ Kimberworth etc (than they will be to sit on a 35 from Sheffield to Lane Top etc via Meadowhall on the roundabout 35).
More linking of Sheffield and Rotherham services isn't surprising - e.g. the current 40 from Sheffield to Handsworth/ Catcliffe being linked on to Rotherham, the 22 running through to Sheffield - although running it via the Parkway surprised me.
But a lot depends on the gaps in Sheffield with the 35/ 85 etc.

Sheffield to Meadowhall via Grimesthorpe hourly provision by the 36. 3a will provide 20 minute service to Jenkin Rd/Sandstone Rd with current 3 running every 20 minutes also (service will split at Newman Rd/Jenkin Rd) 35 & 85 will run every 60 on each providing 30 minute Sheffield, Hillsborough, Grenoside service. 85 at High Green continues to Rotherham as the 136. 85 will remain every 30 minutes at peak. 22a & 22c extended to Sheffield are certain journeys only.

I think where they will pick up most trade would be from 1500 onwards towards Sheffield as after that time the X1 becomes completely random often with gaps of up to an hour.

£6 single not very competitive. If it's £6 for a single fare. It's £10 for a family explora ticket( 2 adults 3 children) But children go free with paying adults. So there for 2 adults just buy the £10 ticket. Saving 2 quid even cheaper
