Exactly, forget all the others. Is that what it's called, or is that another hill in South Yorkshire?

I suspect its Royds Moor Hill on the B6410, not really a hill as we know it. I have climbed higher kerbs.

To be fair here, the X7 is not the good news that it first appears. There are massive gaps in the timetable during the rush hour when most people would want to use it. Shame really. Now all we need is a regular service from Maltby to Rotherham, you know, one that actually turns up.

At least the x1 will have some competition on parts of it's route. Does anyone think it would be viable to have the new x6 running via Rotherham interchange to the airport fast then to Doncaster to provide a more direct X78, just a thought that will probably never happen!

There is very little here that is direct competition for the X1. What First and some enthusiasts are not grasping is that there is very little through traffic past Rotherham in either direction outside the rush hour. The X6 is no more than amusing, a "direct" service that veers off to serve an area with virtually no requirement for a service. Check the factories at Waverley, the car parks are always full and the buses are always empty. At times this will put up to 10 minutes on the journey time for no or little reward. Still it has to be busier than the current incarnation the 737. That has cornered the market in fresh air.

They are regularly running in 2's or 3's about every 30-40mins :-) if you're lucky.

What's even more amusing is that the X6 has an element of funding paid for by Sheffield City Region! Whilst the country is struggling to fund the NHS tax payers money is wasted on this just because politicians want a direct link to DSA from Sheffield! If I was Powell's I would be complaining that a funded service is undermining their X7!

If they just got on with building a railway line to the airport the buses wouldn't be needed so much.
