How will the major companies manage the purchasing of new vehicles with the phasing out of certain fuels will all future purchases be electric or hybrid?

Would any company spend money on a new double decker that requires fossil fuels or will they be prepared to invest in greener vehicles for long term gain?

I just read Stagecoach in Torquay are expanding their depot to allow them to purchase electric vehicles which will take up more space, will we see greener vehicles soon or will the companies rely on aging vehicles as rising costs and squeezed margins take their toll?
