There may be a perfectly logical explanation for this. I am missing something? Why does the 21 only serve Todwick on its way out to Harthill and not on its return trip to Rotherham? Anyone wanting to go into Rotherham has to go to come back on themselves. And from Harthill the x54 to Sheffield, and the 21 to Rotherham leave within a minute of each other. Is this timetable stupidity, or is the answer obvious?
Thanks in advance, just curious. A link below to a route video, very good for training any drivers. Well presented, I think

What with this service being hourly and other external factors such as covering for 3 old routes it would simply make the bus too late and the route too long to cover for its connection if it went back through Todwick. On average it runs 15 minutes late and interworks with 218, another route of notable length and use, and has been seen to be 40 minutes late on occasion.

Goh blimey, it's no wonder people are losing confidence in buses, if services are running that late!

It's all the PTE's fault and that's the truth. First gave them ages notice that they were withdrawing but instead of allowing another operator to secure a suitable bus as Cawthornes did with their B7TLs they bullied First into keeping the routes. When that didn't work they spent 9 days setting up this shambles, and 9 days keeping people uninformed. I don't get it myself.

The thing that this situation has exposed is the inability of the village people at S YMCA to manage the situation. Mr Copout must be proud of this demonstration of their abilities and can only give us confidence in their bid to take control of the buses. Fills your heart with warmth and joy.
