Understand as part of the latest Stagecoach order for 2022/2023, there are 20x Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMCs due this summer for Holbrook depot. Unsure of the intended allocated route, but this will cause a cascade of vehicles out of Holbrook to replace older vehicles (mainly MAN E300s) across the other depots.
Will also help towards making the fleet fully EURO VI compliant for the CAZ areas on Rawmarsh Hill and Sheffield City Centre.

Can only think of 52 or 120 for routes but would that cascade the hybrids out or the e200s

Having ridden on the single deck versions of these, I am rather fond of them. Let's hope they don't get the rock hard seating that First put in theirs though!

Twenty is an interesting number
I thought that the PVR of the 120 was roughly fifteen vehicles, more like ten on the 52, so twenty buses wouldn't be enough for both routes but would leave plenty spare, based on the current frequencies (which may be returning to what they once were, I guess, but given the coordination with First I'd be surprised) - obviously you need some buses spare at any time (maintenance etc) but twenty seems like a lot if intended for the 120 (at every fifteen minutes), given how firms tend to not to be over-generous in their fleets nowadays
Still, good news, it's been over a decade since the various batches of new £400s for Holbrook/ Ecclesfield, good to see new double deckers coming to Sheffield

IIIRC PVR for the 120 was around 13 and 52s 9 but by the sound of it it's to help cope with capacity issues on 25s and to a lesser extent 7s and push the 37xxs to Barnsley. I think folks will be waiting a long time for any other new deckers with other operators.

As the 120 is now PVR 14, there will be a surplus of 6 vehicles which could be allocated to any of Holbrook's routes.
