Did Sheffield and District run from Stannington from day one of deregulation and was this a commercial route. Did SUT or Sheafline run to Stannington before SYT takeover?

Syt 31 Sheffield wood Lane myers Grove school am/pm school times 83/84 Roscoe bank city Ecclesall. Andrews 83/84 Ecclesall city Roscoe bank. . Was it about 1988 that the 83/84 were diverted away from Middlewood to Roscoe Bank/ Hall Park Head? I can’t be sure if that was tied to the hospital at Middlewood winding down (Would have been the 86/87/88 to various parts of Stannington before then) South riding 85 Sheffield Stannington with certain trips to Meadowhall running as 85m. . The first route to serve Acorn Drive? The 85 is a route that evolved from Stannington - City to become Stannington - Ecclesall, then Middlewood - Ecclesall then Firth Park - Ecclesall, then extended to Millhouses… It lasted a couple of decades in one form or another without being withdrawn but completely changed (other than serving the city centre), the 85 was the Trigger’s Broom of bus routes! Sheffield Omnibus/ mainline 20 Stannington jordanthorpe . Seems a long time ago that the Outer Circle was busy enough for up to six buses an hour (2/20/59), and this was at a time when there were busy services on parallel sections (the 64 from Gleadlrss to Manor Top, the 10/70/71/711 from Manor Top along Prince of Wales Road to Darnall, the 33/34 extending beyond Shirecliffe to Hillsborough, the other services from Hillsborough towards Stannington were a lot more frequent too) Northern bus/ wigmores M12 Hillsborough Marchwood. They had a 66 that did Hillsborough- Malin Bridge - Stannington - Dungworth - Low Bradfield (in the days when the 61 ran via Loxley both ways and Dungworth’s only other service was a couple of peak hour extensions of the City - Stannington service)

South riding Service 85 was I think the first Service to run round Acorn estate maybe earlier when Sheffield and District/Hague coaches ran the Stannington Bradfield schools. The turning circle was actually built years before in the first phase of the development.

Cheers, I’d (mis) remembered it as the 83/84 only going to Hall Park Head when the Mainline era began, thanks for clarifying Was the terminus at Hall Park Head exactly the same as Roscoe Bank or was it because more houses were built/ extended further into the estate?

1986 Service 88 was withdrawn replaced by 84 greystones Hall Park head with the city Fulwood section replaced by 33 shirecliffe Fulwood. 1989 Is when syt introduced its first mainline unit 81/82 middlewood Bents green 83/84 Hall Park head Ecclesall 86 city Stannington. The original 88 service to Roscoe bank actually turned right onto stanwood road to the end (no deer park road then).it then turned right onto wood Lane to terminal point what would be Stannington collage/myers Grove returning via stanwood avenue. At sum point in late 60s it was extended via deer park Rd to the bottom of liberty hill where it terminated via reversing and pulling forward to its stop. It was around 1980/81 when the link road upto Hall Park head was completed and 88 ran to the top. Added note Hall Park Hill is the actual name of Rd the terminus is on Hall Park head runs round the back of the flats over looking terminus.
