Next time carry a dictaphone in your pocket and record the whole thing, then go to the local media (papers/local news) with it. I would say sent it to the PTE too but they probably wouldn't care. When I wrote to them telling them about an incident on a bus in SY they couldn't give a dam!

This is a truly shocking incident, but doing the old 'wax lyrical' won't help.
I'm sure collectively we are all horrified as public transport users / enthusiasts / workers, but such one-off's do occur. I think you have to almost accept the advice of MASS's team, and that is that if you stop using it thats your choice. Quite why you chose to get the 191 is beyond me anyway. If you stop using them, and everyone else does then thats game over isn't it really?!
I'm sure the future can only bring changes. I also happen to agree that they probably can't justify new buses, just be nice to have some more modern ones.

It's a bit stupid though that the company doesn't care about losing passengers! I chose to get the 191 as the place I was traveling from was nearest to a 191 stop, and as I knew there was a bus soon I presumed I'd be able to take that and be in town in no time.
It's not all about the age in years - whilst modern buses are generally much better, you can have an older bus which is properly cared for and looks decent.

Nothing beats a Dommo! They were still in relatively good condition - way better than MASS's Titans, despite being the same age - and remember that the Titans were under LT's wing before they were sold to MASS.

Couldn't agree more. I'm fortunate enough to live across the road from SYS where most of the retired Dominators live. Patrick and the lads have done a superb job with their vehicles and I take my hat off to them for what they have done for these buses.
Now they really do put MASS to shame!

I agree they do a terrific job up their and there's some unusual buses there too.

I'm not First's biggest fan but their maintenance is *much* better than MASS and Wilfreda.

Don't forget Powell's but I disagree with First maintaining their buses better than Wilfreda, they always look nice and tidy. But I think Veolia or SEM maintain their buses the best.

Wilfreda are variable. If it's a new bus which it is maintained - especially if it is under warranty and parts are available. Otherwise, faults can be reported over and over and nobody do anything about them...
Hmm - Velololllloia seem to be just another MASS from what I've heard and seen, but I'll be proved wrong if needs be.

You'd be forgiven for thinking this was PVS, Barnsley!
