That is an 'unofficial' address to the guy who ran the old Leon site - they don't have a proper one.

Hmm - Velololllloia seem to be just another MASS from what I've heard and seen, but I'll be proved wrong if needs be. Yeah, those shockingly old buses... www.lincstransportpics.fpic.co.uk/p33067734.htmlRegardless of what other members of this forum think I am a big fan of Veolia, their maintenance is excellent, the buses are safe and kept clean. They are not another MASS.

Yeas, on this one: terrystapley397.fotopic.net/p27213478.htmlI'm amazed at just how many of those triaxles MASS have. Although the blinds are a mess, with only one that appears fully operational, and one that has even been blanked out! And it's all very well painting second-hand buses in cheap garish colours, but why on earth are they painting the Titans, which were in fully acceptible green/red/white, into Brightbus too? EDIT: I've just been reminded of the time when one of those triaxles went straight through a red light just as I was crossing the road! Seems I do have a reason to hate MASS even though I've never been on any of their buses!

In that same picture is the mysterious ex Leon Metrorider.

Yeah, the Metroriders were decent vehicles and worked the 89 well. Then MASS came and decided that we would prefer Titans.
I'm sorry but Viola won their contracts in Doncaster specifically because they could offer low floor buses which MASS can't - and what did they do, put Solos on for the first week, let everyone bathe in a light of glory and then go and put Merc Minis on, which last time I looked weren't low floor.

The MetroRider carries MASS Transit blinds, the 77 had only been running a week or so when the picture was taken and only managed about six months before being withdrawn. At least the paper in the windscreen wasn't just scribbled on a ripped up cardboard box and provided destination information. The blinds in Solo YN04LWT have now been replaced and had only just ripped when the picture was taken. Ex-MASS!

The Dennis Darts are good vehicles but they've seemed to have disappeared.

Some of the Leon buses were wrecks - ANA2/3/6Y come to mind.
However lots were in relatively good condition - the Darts, Metroriders, Tridents, and a few of the Olympians - D43RWC for example.

As the fleetlist is 13 nearly 14 months old id imagine much of it isn't that accurate anymore due to the comings and goings in the Mass Fleet
